‘The Wight Proms’ Adds Comedy Night to Schedule Due to Phenomenal Demand

We’re delighted to announce we’ve added ‘A Wight Laugh’ to our outdoor-picnic festival schedule as
part of ‘The Wight Proms’ on Friday 17th August at Northwood House. Bringing international comedy
to Cowes for One Night Only, and starring:
 OMID DJALILI – Multi Award-Winning Actor, Writer & Comedy Legend
 BOOTHYBY GRAFFOE – Time Out Comedy Award Winner & Edies Nominee
 MICKY P KERR – Britain’s Got Talent 2018 Finalist

What is ‘The Wight Proms’?
 The brand-new annual festival of open-air picnic concerts at Northwood House, Cowes celebrating classical
music, musical theatre and comedy. Featuring red squirrels, free arts workshops and the inaugural ‘Proms Art
& Sculpture Exhibition’
 There has never been a music festival like this on the IOW, catering to lovers of both classical music and
musical theatre, with a healthy serving of comedy on the side
 The 4-day festival will take place on 16-19 August in the grounds of Northwood House, Cowes as well as
inside the grade II* listed Georgian manor house
 Picnic hampers containing delicious IOW produce will be available to pre-order when purchasing tickets
